I have done this for the task 'A Day Out', but to adapt it for any other task all you would need to do is copy and paste the task bullet points from the spec. The grade descriptions are adapted from the Module 3 marking criteria and the spec grade descriptions and are of course for rough guidance purposes only - hope yo find them suitable! Exemplar A grade text on the topic of school, followed by a series of activities to enable students to write their own Controlled Assessment. Suitable for independent work, cover and resits. Several hours worth of work.

A sheet to support pupils in learning the conjugation of regular Spanish verbs by heart. Ideal for cover or independent work.

Writing Practice for the new foundation writing paper on likes and dislikes: essential phrases to use and how to learn them by heart.

A comprehensive set of materials to help students prepare for the writing exam. Guidance on each question, including success criteria from the new mark scheme (drawing on my training as an AQA examiner for the new specification). Comprehensive vocabulary lists and tasks to help students revise key structures and vocabulary. I have added the vocab lists as excel lists so that they can be easily copied and pasted into various revision applications, or simply copied and pasted onto word documents. They are the ‘vocab sgeets’ referred to in the handbook. The structure of the handbook encourages spaced repeition and low stakes testing to embed this key language.

A worksheet to help students memorise some phrases in the preterite tense. Ideal for cover or independent work such as homework. Suitable for lower ability pupils preparing for the new GCSE.

To help KS3 and lower ability KS4 pupils learn key verb and verb phrases. Suitable for the new GCSE writing and speaking. Ideal for practicing the basics, next steps, cover work, homework, independent work or just a focused lesson with a challenging class.

To help pupils of all abilities build and add complexity to texts. Includes activities to get pupils started with the mats, and to get them reflecting on how to improve their writing and speaking. The 2 mats(KS3 and KS4) are best printed out in colour on A3 and laminated. You could do them double sided, as the KS3 side provides good support for less able pupils at KS4.

A sheet with AQA GCSE marking criteria to enable peer assessment and reflection on next steps for improvement in Speaking Controlled Assesssment preparation. Is for Spanish speaking, but with minor adjustments can be for writing and any language. However, I will adjust for writing Controlled Assessment for those less confident or new to the mark scheme. Can be used for peer assessment, but also to aid self-assessment, or for FLAs/TAs as guidance. To be used in conjunction with Higher Literacy Mat for Spanish: this can be found in the free uploads section under my username.

Suitable for independent work or cover. Suitable for re-sits and able but less motivated students. Activities suitable for several lessons or a series of homeworks.
